Appointments can be made during the hours of 7:45am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday by calling the St. Clair Shores office at 586-773-1300 or the Macomb Township office at 586-416-1300. You can also request an appointment via our Patient Portal. The office is closed between Noon and 1 PM.

The earliest appointments are typically around 7:45 Am; the latest around 3:30 pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays.

At St. Clair Orthopaedics we provide a spacious, clean and comfortable waiting area that is equipped with a flat screen television and WI-FI access. We strive to maintain an on-time schedule, but occasionally an emergency or surgical procedure may take longer than expected which may cause your appointment to be delayed. An attempt will be made to inform you if a lengthy delay is anticipated. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in these unavoidable situations.

Please set aside a 2 hour block for your visit if possible. This time may include filling out paperwork, obtaining X-Rays, copying documentation regarding insurances, etc. New patients coming to the office for the first visit should anticipate extra time for data entry into their medical records. YOU can shorten your wait time by logging into the patient portal and entering data regarding your medical history prior to coming to the office.

To Prepare For Your Appointment

Listed below are important things to be aware of that will help you prepare for your visit to our office.
  • You must bring valid photo identification
  •        - Please bring current Insurance Card or Insurance Information
           - Referral, if required
           - If your injury is work or auto related, please notify our staff immediately and provide the following information.
           - Contact name, phone number and claim number
           - We must verify your claim is open and active before you can be seen by the doctor.
  • Patients under 18 cannot be seen without a parent or guardian present for every visit
  • If you have previous x-rays or diagnostic tests pertinent to the injury being evaluated, please bring those images AND reports with you.
  • Please be prepared to pay co-payments at each visit along with a pre-payment towards your deductible, if it has not been met. For your convenience we accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also offer Care Credit as an option for payment of medical expenses.
  • For patients whose deductible for the year has not been met, you will be expected to pay for services at the time of your visit. DEDUCTIBLES are costs that have been passed on to patients by their insurance carrier before any payment is made by your insurance company for your medical treatment. Only when the deductible for the year has been satisfied, does your insurance contract for provider reimbursement kick in.
